I write poetry, essays, fiction of varying lengths, scripts, but most of my work over the last decade has been in non-fiction.
I have worked as a journalist since 2000, reporting from both urban and rural areas, and have written for many publications including Caravan, Mid-Day, Frontline (the fortnightly news magazine published by The Hindu group), Elle, Forbes Life, Femina, Marie Claire, Verve, JLT, (Just Like That), KTV (Kathmandu), Tehelka, Deccan Herald and Deccan Chronicle.
